9 months

This is the same cardigan that Greta wore on this very same ferry ride.

To my darling Plum...at nine months.

In addition to your first tooth, you have sprouted three additional teeth this past month. I miss your gummy smile, but you have grown even more adorable with your four teeth.

You weigh 19lbs 12oz. and are 28 1/2 inches tall! You have been holding steady in the 70th percentile for height and weight and your head is something like the 96th percentile.

You wave "Hi" and put your shoulder to your ear and lift your arm up as you say, "Hi". It is the funniest and sweetest thing ever.

You are quite the active sleeper. I'm not at all ashamed to admit that you have been co-sleeping with us these past few months. Although, it would be great to get some sleep every now and then and not be woken up because you move back and forth between Daddy and I, snuggling in nice and close, and you move sideways with your feet in my face. We'll transition you soon enough, my love.

When I say, "No", you shake your head back and forth and giggle. You know exactly what that word means.

You have started to stand up next to this little ABC cube we have and you push it forward and "walk" with it.

You have become so good at giving dirty looks. You do this face that is just so funny and adorable at once. You scrunch your nose and furrow your brows and make a sort of hissing sound. I say, "what a face!" and you giggle and do it again.

Ever since you were just a couple months old, you do this thing with your hands where you have your arms stuck out like chicken wings and your wrists rolling in front of you...like you are ready. Always busy, busy, busy!

You are developing quite the little personality. It's as if you've grown by leaps and bounds over the course of a month. And although  it is such a pleasure to see you go through these milestones...I just wish time wouldn't move so quickly. I just want to bottle you up as you are at this age, Stella. Because it is just so good.
